Golden hour, all yours

Sunset, Cozumel

What to expect

A sunset charter is the slowest, most relaxed way to see Cozumel. You leave the marina in the late afternoon, cruise along the leeward coast while the light turns gold, and watch the sun drop into the Caribbean with a drink in hand. There's no fixed route: some groups anchor for a last swim in a calm bay, others just cruise and enjoy the breeze. Either way, the boat and the horizon are yours alone.

What is included

The sunset charter includes your licensed bilingual crew, an open bar with beer, soft drinks and bottled water, and snacks or food. Towels, a cooler with ice, Bluetooth music and fuel are part of the trip. Many groups add a champagne bottle or the premium open bar for the occasion — you can select extras when you request your quote.

Best time to go

Sunset in Cozumel is between roughly 6 and 7 pm depending on the season, so most sunset charters board about two hours before sundown. Winter sunsets are earlier and often clearer; summer ones are later with warmer evenings. Tell us your date and we'll recommend the exact boarding time so you're on the water for the best light.

How long the trip takes

A 4-hour charter is the classic sunset format: board in the afternoon, swim or snorkel while there's still light, then cruise into the sunset and return after dark. If your group only wants the golden-hour cruise without swimming, ask us about shorter timing when you request your quote on WhatsApp.
