Isla Pasión

Isla Pasión private boat trip

A quiet island, all yours

Isla Pasión, Cozumel

What to expect

Isla Pasión sits off Cozumel's north coast, away from the busy southern beach clubs. It is a small, castaway-style island with soft sand, palm trees and calm, shallow turquoise water. Because the north side is quieter, a private trip here feels like having your own island for a few hours: swim, walk the beach, have a drink in the shade and let the crew take care of everything.

What is included

The trip includes your licensed bilingual crew, snorkel gear and life vests, an open bar with beer, soft drinks and bottled water, and snacks or food according to the length of your charter. Towels, a cooler with ice, fuel and Bluetooth music are always on board. Optional extras like a ceviche and seafood platter or premium open bar can be added when you book.

Best time to go

Isla Pasión is at its best on calm-weather days, which are most common from spring through early autumn. Because the crossing to the north side is more exposed, your captain will confirm conditions on the morning of your trip; if the north is windy, we suggest the sheltered southern route instead. Weekdays are usually quieter than weekends on the island.

How long the trip takes

We recommend 6 or 8 hours for Isla Pasión: the island is farther than the southern reefs, and the extra time lets you enjoy the beach without watching the clock. The crossing takes about 45 to 60 minutes each way depending on conditions. A 4-hour trip is possible but feels short; most groups who choose Isla Pasión make a full day of it.
